Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing procurement support to the Receiving Departments and Inventory teams in the Pinetops, North Carolina facility. You will ensure both internal and external communication is provided for all deliveries, production support, supplier paperwork corrections and receipts. You will also be a lead for inventory processes and material handling improvements. The work model for the role is: ONSITE You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Audit daily receiving documentation for systematic accuracy and notify Procurement Team of any inaccuracies; Train and coordinate cycle counting teams to improve inventory accuracy and confirmations, reducing material shortages.
2. Support documentation process and any preparation needed for Physical Inventory. Key lead for PI improvements and processes with production and inventory teams; Provide inventory support to warehouse and finished goods, while assisting implementation of improvement processes and aid in PI prep and material handling.
3. Maintain complete and accurate data in ERP system; Maintain quality system for all shelf-life materials and verify compliance with business requirements.
4. Participate in all inventory control processes and ownership of audit and compliance requirements; Work with shipping on any RMR's or shipment errors/returns.

Qualifications for the role
* High school diploma required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving and inventory, working in either an administrative or tactical role, preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP a plus
* Ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, time management, effective communication, prioritize tasks and be a self-starter/work independently
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, involving multiple priorities with high sense of urgency
* Shift time will be 1:30pm-9pm M-F
* Must be available for occasional weekends
* Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
