If you have a level 2 or 3 in childcare and are looking to work for a nursery that values its hardworking team, takes pride in its supportive management, and encourages progression, you need to call us today!
Willo Education is working exclusively with a small franchise of nurseries located in the Great Barr, Dudley, and Tipton areas. Due to expansion, all three nurseries are looking for permanent nursery practitioners to join their ever-growing team. You will need to have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with nursery-aged children, possess a positive can-do attitude, and be passionate about supporting and inspiring children at the early stages of their education.
The nurseries are all Ofsted GOOD and take pride in their settings. You will be working alongside teams with hands-on management who can’t do enough to help and support you. As a permanent member of the team, you may be required to take on responsibilities such as having Key Children, with room for progression to room leader, etc.
If this sounds like an opportunity you can’t pass, you will need the following to apply:
1. Enhanced DBS on the update service or the ability to apply for a new one.
2. 6 months of experience working with children aged 0-4 years.
3. Right to work in the UK.
4. Experience working with children in the UK.
5. Ability to provide 2 sufficient references.
6. Level 2 or 3 in childcare.
7. Paediatric First Aid trained (desired but not mandatory).
Your duties will include:
* Create activities that meet the individual needs and interests of children in your area in conjunction with other team members.
* Engage in good teamwork.
* Be flexible within the working practices of the nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g., preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
* Respect the confidentiality of all information received for both children and staff.
* Ensure that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing and education for the children.
* Wash and change children as required; cover may be required for other rooms where needed.
* Ensure good standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times, adhering to nursery standards and deep cleans weekly.
Willo Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects every candidate to share this commitment. Placements are subject to appropriate Child Protection screening, including checks with former employers and the Disclosure and Barring Checks.
