What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
* Taking lead on all electrical tasks and offering support for mechanical issues where required, ensuring all plant machinery meets regulatory requirements.
* Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
* Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS’, Balers, compactors, shredders, lighting, general electrical systems and more.
* Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
* Travelling to other sites in the area when there are operational requirements, including installation works.
* Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
What are the requirements?
* NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
* 18th edition qualification.
* Previous experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, domestic installations, etc.
* Able to read schematic drawings.
