Term Time Only: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: 6th January 2024
Five Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to work within a mainstream primary school in Yate, supporting a Key Stage 1 (KS1) student with Autism. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of a student with Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role will be working 1:1 with a student throughout the week. You will provide tailored support to a student with Autism, within a mainstream classroom setting.
- Support classroom teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Provide tailored support during lessons, activities, and potentially break times.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Essential Criteria:
- A genuine interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs. Experience working with Autism preferred (but not mandatory).
- The right to work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsorship or skilled worker visas).
- Relevant references and DBS/police checks.
- Availability to work 5 days a week (Mon - Fri), term time only (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).
