Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing team of Pre op assessment. As a Registered practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting your manager and colleagues in ensuring that our service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care. As a centre of excellence, you will offer a person-centred approach to their independence and well-being.
We require a motivated individual who can work autonomously and within a team with a flexible approach to work planning and management. You must have excellent communication and team working skills, be able to engage with a variety of stakeholders and demonstrate positive professional role modelling. You need to have a passion for supporting and developing yourself and others.

The successful candidate will join the Surgery & Critical Care Group as part of our team of pre-assessment nurses. This role will require focused assessment and patient communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a broad range of healthcare professionals to ensure patients are optimised prior to their surgical procedure, with focus on private patients that are being treated in our trust.
They will also be expected to work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines and take responsibility for:
1. Protecting and supporting the health of individual patients and clients
2. Assessment of care and health education needs
3. Development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient
