We are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Trainee Teacher to join a Special School in Chelmsford. This full-time permanent role offers an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and looking to build a career in teaching.
As a Trainee Teacher, you will receive excellent mentoring and professional development to help you achieve your teaching qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will be working closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide students with a tailored education plan that helps them thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with special educational needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to provide individualised support for students.
* Gain experience in classroom management, planning lessons, and evaluating student progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development and training to gain teaching qualifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A passion for working with children with special educational needs.
* Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* A desire to pursue a teaching qualification and career in education.
