Account Administrator - PART TIME Annual Salary: Up to £16,000 Per annum Location: Felixstowe Job Type: Part-time, Permanent Up to 24 hours per week /Flex with the days/hours Join our team at a leading freight forwarding company, specialising in worldwide freight movements, Customs clearance, and logistics services. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to support their financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting or administrative roles, particularly within the forwarding/shipping industry. Day-to-day of the role: Raising sales invoices for both credit and non-credit customers. Assisting with the processing of purchase invoices. Cross-referencing bulk purchase invoices ready for payment. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of accounts payable. Using in-house freight software MultiFreight and Sage accounts. Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth processing. Responding to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders regarding account status and transactions. Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role. Experience within a similar forwarding/shipping office is preferred. Familiarity with accounting software, specifically Sage, is essential. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
