Ashwell Medical Centre has a vacancy for a salaried GP (6 sessions each week).

Main duties of the job
The salaried GP will be responsible for delivering the full range of primary care services as part of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of care for the differing needs of our patient population. The salaried GP will work closely with the practice's multi-disciplinary team of other GPs, pharmacists, advanced practitioners, nurses, and non-clinical staff to provide a high quality and accessible service to patients.
As a practice, we want to build our reputation. As you are an integral part of us, it is expected that you will help support and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review, and any other improvement plans as determined by the partners.
Our practice is a training practice, and so the position would be suitable for someone who is newly qualified and would like to work within a supportive environment.
Our practice is keen on new developments and different ways of working. It would suit someone who has specialist skills or who would like to develop them, or for someone who is interested in new ways of improving patient healthcare.

About us
We have an existing team comprising of 4 GPs (two salaried and two partners), GP registrars, FY and Medical students, two advanced practitioners, three experienced nurses, three HCAs, and two phlebotomists; an in-house pharmacy team; and excellent administrative support providing care-coordination, care navigation, and general reception services as well as data quality and management.
Our practice serves a highly deprived demography in an 'inner city' environment. Our population is relatively young compared to national averages.

* Fully qualified GP with current entry on the Performers list.
* (We will accept applications from GP trainees who are due to meet the above criteria within the next 3 month period.)
