2 x Offshore Energy Project Financing and Development – 4+ PQE, London
Our client, a top rated European-headquartered law firm, is globally recognised for its shipping expertise. The firm has a strong presence in the world's most active shipping clusters, and Maritime law is a cornerstone practice for the firm; they’re known as one of the biggest names in the industry, and the lawyers relied upon by maritime industry clients for counsel concerning the industry’s most high profile and business-critical cases and transactions.
In addition and complementary to their maritime practice, the firm has a strong offshore energy practice which focuses on the development and finance of offshore energy projects (specifically those involving FSRU, FLNG and offshore drilling assets), and acquisitions and divestitures in the offshore energy sector.
The team advises on project tendering, vessel construction, EPCIC, financing, sale and purchase and leasing arrangements in respect of FSRUs, LNGCs, FLNG, FPSOs/FSOs, drilling units and drillships, and handles a wide variety of projects in the oil and gas sectors.. Clients include some of the leading vessel owners and energy contractors.
The firm has had an excellent year and in order to support this growth and client demand are looking for two additional mid-senior level Offshore Energy Projects Associates.
In order to be considered for one of these roles, you will have:
* Gained high quality training and at least 4 years’ PQE in the development and financing of offshore energy projects, probably from a City or international practice;
* Relevant ‘hands-on’ work experience of transactions within the energy sector, and have well-developed client management skills;
* A proactive, inquisitive approach;
* Strong interpersonal skills and sound time/case management skills; and
* A strong academic record.
