Sharp Consultancy is delighted to partner with a thriving business in Rotherham that has achieved significant growth in recent years. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their close-knit, supportive team.
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in managing accurate and timely payroll operations within a collaborative work environment where team members value and support each other.
They are looking for someone on interim basis throughout a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with employees on-site to gather and verify timesheets.
* Process payroll for new starters and leavers.
* Calculate and process travel payments accurately.
* Manage and balance both weekly (150 employees) and monthly payrolls (2000+ employees).
* Generate payslips, P45s, and P60s as required.
* Conduct pension assessments.
* Generate payroll costing reports.
* Process employee absences in line with policies.
* Complete BACS and manual payments as necessary.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar payroll administration role.
* Highly organised and meticulous in handling data.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with site employees and internal teams.
