Role Overview
One of our leading Aerospace industry clients is looking for a Project Planner. You will support the major programmes, growth projects, and strategic campaigns/bids within Space Digital UK, US & Asia.
Responsibilities
1. Creation, maintenance, and timely delivery of the top-level and lower-level schedules, and Integrated Project Team (IPT) schedules.
2. Analysing project costs versus project forward load in conjunction with resource tracking/management on behalf of the Project Manager.
3. Payment Milestone tracking.
4. Risk analysis tracking.
5. Change Control.
6. Support management consolidation, judgement, recommendations, and the timely provision of all necessary management data and reporting information.
7. Provide consolidated project reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management including special focus reports as required.
8. Create and maintain standardised templates for schedules and project reporting.
9. Project administration support to the Project Manager and the project team.
Skill Set
Essential:
1. Recent experience in working within Project Management, including scheduling, logic checking, Earned Value, and Risk Management.
2. Knowledge of planning best practice, e.g., logic linking/dependencies, resource scheduling, performing schedule health checks, critical Path Analysis, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
3. Planning to stage boundaries - contingency planning.
4. Good knowledge/understanding of Project Management methodologies.
5. Excellent knowledge and proficient use of both MS Project Professional & Primavera P6 Professional.
The successful candidate will need to have active or transferrable UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role.
