Mediline Supported Living are a growing Care and Support service that work across a number of Supported Living Services in the Greater Manchester region.
We are currently recruiting for a service “ the Bungalows” in Bury. This small, bed-based service supports a small number of Adults with Learning Disabilities and is a valued service that works with enhancing independence.
You will work alongside a small team and work 1-2-1. This role provides all areas of care from supporting personal care with showering, toileting and hygiene requirements, to providing companionship and support with activities such as reading, movies, craft and getting out and about in the local community with shopping, socialising and generally keeping active and managing wellbeing.
Our support workers are able to demonstrate
· Compassion and Care.
· Competence in understanding and following instruction from care plans and senior colleagues.
· Driven to support independence and wellbeing in others.
· Ability to deliver care across all areas of the Care Certificate.
· Enjoy working in a team but also able to offer 1-2-1 care.
· Offer flexibility with working longer days and a good amount of flexibility across what days you are able to work.
· Consider sleepover night work. Paid at £65 per night ( + waking hour rate is awoken)
· Hourly pay rates of £10.90 per hour.

Benefits
Medline are able to offer guaranteed contracts of 20 hours ( will consider students with 12 months remaining on Visa. 25 and 35 hours also available plus additional hours.
Medline provide a full induction training programme for all employees, regular supervision and on-going training to support employee's continuous professional development. Once an employee has successfully completed their probationary period they will be encouraged to gain further qualifications in Health and Social Care, if desired.
