Point of Sale - Project Manager & Estimator

As a Point of Sale Retail Project Manager & Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Utilizing your strong estimation skills, you will accurately assess project requirements, develop detailed cost estimates, and present clear proposals to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, efficiently allocating resources and anticipating any obstacles to ensure successful delivery.
* Work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and production staff, to translate concepts into actionable plans.
* Conduct thorough site surveys to gather accurate specifications, taking into account dimensions, materials, and installation requirements.
* Use your sharp estimation skills to develop detailed cost estimates, factoring in labor, materials, and production timelines.
* Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including detailed breakdowns of costs, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clarity for clients.
* Monitor project progress, track milestones, and performance metrics, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and ensuring consensus on project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in project management and estimation within the point-of-sale retail industry.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
* Proficiency in estimation techniques and software, along with a keen eye for detail.
* A proactive and results-oriented mindset, always striving for excellence in project delivery.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
* An understanding of retail environments, fixtures, and materials would be advantageous.
