Main duties of the job In partnership with your fellow Medical HR Advisors and with support from the Medical HR Administrator, you will: Rotas: The post holder will build and oversee the Consultant and Resident Doctor on-call rotas, ensuring comprehensive coverage at all required times. Recruitment: Manage recruitment activities within your designated area ensuring a smooth and efficient process, cross reference recruitment need to agency usage within your designated area, have knowledge of and support the localised workforce plans recruitment requirements Agency: Take charge of agency locum operations, including sourcing candidates, negotiating costs within framework rate and ensuring compliance, while supporting completion of all relevant admin to process a booking or extension. Medical HR Advisory Service: Provide advisory support on non-complex medical T&C's, contracts of employment and leave, ensuring clear communication and guidance in a timely manner - while supporting the localised workforce plan with agency reduction Policy Adherence & Independent Action: Work within established policies and procedures, using your initiative to manage recruitment, agency bookings and T&C's with guidance available when needed. Roster: To ensure a full and accurate roster for your designated area which fully reflects annual leave, sickness absence and any other form of leave, while providing advice and guidance on special leave options and ensuring the most appropriate is utilised when needed.
