Job title: Senior Engineer - HVAC/LEV

Salary: £40,748 + depending on skills and experience.
What you'll be doing:
1. Review design proposals from external contractors and consultants for new and refurbished HVAC and LEV installations to ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations and site standards.
2. Provide advice/guidance/recommendations to the wider business on HVAC/LEV issues.
3. Work with site Engineering Authorities to assess operations on the site and ensure LEV systems are fully compliant with regulations.
4. Preparation of technical reports and documentation to support new HVAC and LEV installations on site.
5. Define requirements for HVAC and LEV systems in conjunction with end users.
6. Support Principal Engineers with the production and update of site engineering standards for HVAC and LEV systems.
7. Ensure that all new and modified assets are compliant with relevant current standards and meet stakeholder requirements.
8. Assist project teams to review installations and commissioning of new and modified assets where discipline knowledge is required.
Your skills and experiences:
1. HNC/HND qualified in Building Services Engineering.
2. British Occupational Health Society P601 course in LEV or other LEV courses.
3. Registered with an engineering professional institute, Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) or IMechE and working towards chartered status.
4. Around 5 years Design or installation background in HVAC/LEV related experience with a consultant or contractor.

The Mechanical HVAC/LEV team:
As the Senior Engineer - HVAC/LEV you will be joining a multi-discipline team comprising of suitably qualified and experienced personnel (SQEP) in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil/Structural disciplines. The main purpose of the team is to set site engineering standards and requirements for equipment/systems/facilities in accordance with legislation and process. We offer relocation support across all Submarine roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
