As a bank nurse, you will join a large enthusiastic team of nurses, working with hundreds of staff to support up to 170 children and young adults with physical disabilities to access education in our specialist school and college. We are well supported by our Senior Nursing Team, Medicines Management Team, MDT, onsite GPs, and Safeguarding Lead. We have immense job satisfaction and love making a real difference to the lives of our students.
We are looking to appoint Registered Nurses with recent clinical experience, including assessment of the deteriorating patient. Applicants will need to commit to completing an intensive bespoke induction (2-3 weeks over an agreed time) and be able to offer regular shifts to remain current in practice (e.g., one per fortnight/month), ideally with flexibility for both days and nights. Our bank nurses are routinely allocated to work with permanent staff and are rarely lone workers.
