Product Owner

This is a dual role taking the Lead for the support and maintenance of live digital service as well as being the Product Manager/Owner for multiple client-sited agile scrum teams.
Hybrid Working: Please note, this role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt office for a minimum 3 days per week.
As a Product Manager/ Delivery Lead you will:
1. Manage a product through discovery, alpha, beta and live states, support lead and senior product specialists.
2. Develop expert skills and knowledge of product management techniques, defines, owns and solves problems.
3. Lead multidiscipline delivery teams, manage complex networks of stakeholders, organise/manage the Roadmap and product backlogs (Jira / Confluence). Responsible for making decisions around prioritisation of requirements and change.
4. Manage dependencies and deadlines, with a focus on user-centred design and user research, delivery of value (metrics).
5. Design operational processes for the running and maintenance of products or services throughout their product life cycle.
6. Act as the escalation point for operational issues and can fix complex operational issues, while working closely with operational delivery teams.
7. Ensure that the right actions are taken to investigate, resolve and anticipate problems, co-ordinate the team to investigate problems, implement solutions and take preventive measures.
8. Understand the product/service, integrate a product with other services, build business cases based on user needs.
9. Take the lead on live issues and incidents with the support from the Business Analysts and manage work required to maintain and improve the digital services.
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a Product Owner position, within a consultancy environment.
2. Delivery management.
3. Jira/Confluence.
4. Agile, Kanban, Scrum.
5. Government Digital and Data experience. Experience within full Life cycle product management including; operational management, Problem management, Strategic ownership, User focus.
6. Team Leadership - Including navigating complex internal and stakeholder landscapes successfully.
7. Experience of Live Support would be beneficial.
