We’re seeking an empathetic and dedicated Registered Nurse in Dover or surrounding to provide one-on-one care for a young adult with complex healthcare needs.

The Role:
We are pleased to support a client in the Dover area with her complex care needs, including Cerebral Palsy, Bipap, Dystonia, PEG feeding, and Moving and Handling. Whilst supporting her clinically she also has a keen interest in cooking, and as part of your role, you will provide support to her in this activity.
She communicates using eye gaze technology, so experience with this is desired however not essential as you will receive training to effectively assist her with this.
Comprehensive in-house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. We are committed to supporting you throughout your role to ensure the best possible outcomes for our client.
We are looking for 1 full time Nurse or 2 part time Nurses to cover the available Shift Patterns:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 20:00 – 08:00
Alternate Saturday and Sunday 08:00 – 20:00

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a complex client.
* Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery
* Provide 1-2-1 support to a child with Complex Care needs
* Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals
* Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* Commitment to 2 regular shifts per week.
* UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
* Ability to fit seamlessly into the family home setting.
* Compassion, confidence, and a gentle caring nature.
* Clean and valid Registered Nurse pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience.
* Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community.
