Job Title: HR Assistant
Reports to: Business Support and Compliance Director
Hours of Work: 08:30 – 17:30
Location: Hereford
Salary: £TBC
To support the senior management team with day-to-day duties which contribute to the smooth running of the company and ensure confidentiality and compliance with all sector rules.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work accurately towards strict targets and deadlines
2. Support with administration duties including filing of emails, letters, dictations and other HR documentation
3. Train new members of staff where necessary
4. Inform the Finance Manager of any payroll information/adjustments to log and process
5. Support with reviewing and updating policies and procedures
6. Maintain staff records within all Personnel files
7. Support with recruitment and inductions
8. Assist with correspondence of external requirements
9. Liaise with management regarding Staff Holidays updating the Holiday spreadsheet including lieu time and unpaid leave
10. Prepare internal meeting documentation where necessary
11. Assist with Compliance requirements
12. Log, record and maintain staff training in line with the training matrix
13. Ensure annual, quarterly and monthly tasks are completed
14. Perform ‘desk checks’ with office based staff members
15. Assist with Reception duties where necessary
16. Schedule meetings on behalf of management and assist with meeting agendas where necessary
17. Support with reviewing staff job descriptions are in line with their role
18. Maintain and update guidance of HR duties
