A Structural Project Engineer is required to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level Structural Engineer to become part of a highly respected Engineering Consultancy that truly values their employees and their professional growth.
The company is looking for a Structural Engineer who is eager to advance their career while working on a diverse array of building design projects across various sectors. Despite having a strong national presence, they are particularly recognized in the Midlands for their involvement in prestigious local projects.
As a Structural Project Engineer, your role / duties will include:
* The delivery of a wide variety of project types: Educational, sports facilities, regeneration of local areas, commercial and urban village projects.
* The development of early stage concept designs, reviewing and quality checking drawing information before it is issued.
* Continuation of projects to detailed design stage.
* Attendance at project meetings representing the Client during early design and construction stages.
Ideally, applicants will have the following skills / abilities:
* Postgraduate structural design experience of approximately 3 years or more.
* Experience of delivering structural design works under minimal or even no supervision for someone more experienced.
* A good grounding in structural design and good knowledge and understanding of buildings to draw upon; having already commenced your career and progressed within a Consultancy-led environment.
* Working knowledge of key design software and an understanding of how to implement model validation on these packages.
