What's involved with this role: Temporary Intelligence and Business Analyst G10 Sussex BL 366113 Contract Length: 9 months initially then due to extend Location: Worthing, BN13 2PQ Pay Rate: £17.84per hour PAYE c15% accrued holiday pension contribution. Equivalent to £32,772 per annum. Please note that this vacancy is subject to a strict security vetting procedure. About the Role This is an investigation into potential offences at a large medical establishment in Sussex. You will be part of a team which will thoroughly investigate allegations to bring any potential offenders to justice and help ensure the safety of the general public. Key Responsibilities You’ll identify, interrogate, and assess information from a range of big data sets and evolving intelligence. You will suggest opportunities to gather intelligence and evidence to progress the investigation, solve problems or otherwise reduce threat, harm and risk. Problem-solving, attention to detail, and presentational skills will be crucial in this investigation, where analysis of key data is required. About You The ideal candidate will have: Graduate calibre or equivalent qualification, or with proven and well evidenced experience of crime/intelligence analysis in a relevant field. - A high standard of problem-solving skills. - Well-developed computer skills including the ability to learn bespoke systems, and design and develop recording and analysis frameworks by using databases, spreadsheets and other analytical tools. - Previous experience of interpreting and evaluating large sets of qualitative and quantitative data to extract salient points, develop inferences, and make recommendations. - Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to present appropriately to groups or individuals, including senior managers and partner agencies.
