A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Bristol Area!
With no day ever being the same, the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics, equipment repair, getting equipment running efficiently.
2. Planned and reactive maintenance on a range of different automated machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and drives.
3. Identify needs for continuous improvement and energy saving ideas and report or implement.
4. Reporting and logging of tasks - inputting data into CMMS systems. Keeping all data up to date with modifications.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Level 3/4 NVQ diploma or equivalent in Engineering.
2. 17th / 18th Edition beneficial.
3. PLC programming or fault finding experience.
4. Experience working in a multi-skilled maintenance role in a production environment.
5. Strong continuous improvement experience.
6. Food / FMCG / Pharmaceutical industry background beneficial.
7. Experience working with hand tools and conversant with circuit diagrams.
