Due to the continuous growth, consistent market position, and team development, a market leader in their Manufacturing industry are currently looking for a HSE Manager to join their senior leadership team.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description
1. Responsible for utilising the Quality Management System and Compliance.
2. Ensuring that processes, procedures and methods are controlled, conforming to customer’s requirements and ISO 9001 through patrol and specific inspections.
3. Ensure that the quality requirements are clearly defined, captured, and distributed by means of information sheets, SOP’s & Product Information Data sheets.
4. Report daily KPIs with regards to quality performance at daily team review meetings.
5. Ensure supplier audits are conducted as and when required.
6. Upfront involvement in the NPI process, ensuring a clear understanding of new product requirements, developing the necessary control plans and in process controls.
7. Ensure product specifications are up to date, understood and adjusted accordingly.
8. Support investigations in the event of a quality concern or non-conformance and the implementation of corrective actions.
9. Utilise on site quality tools/processes – CAPA, 5 Why’s, FMEA, PFMEA, 8D, Control plans, SPC, PPAP.
10. Drive improvements to the H&S culture, actively reporting all Accidents, Dangerous Occurrence or Near Misses.
11. Support all company safety initiatives, programs of safety improvement, Hazard awareness and the management of behaviour-based safety programs.
12. Ensure the departmental heads are continuously trained so that the Company’s facilities and equipment are operated in a safe manner.
13. Review Risk Assessments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance to safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
14. Demonstrated high level management of Safety and Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
15. Desirable recognised Health & Safety qualification – NEBOSH.
16. A minimum of 4 years’ management experience in an ISO 9001 regulated environment.
