Location: Keyline, Glasgow G5 8HQ - This role is onsite working.
As a credit administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administrating various credit-related tasks. The primary responsibility will be to process customer requests for Proof of Delivery (POD), liaising with suppliers to obtain the correct delivery documents, and ensuring timely delivery of these documents to customers. This role is crucial in minimizing overdue disputed invoices and enhancing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and review customer POD requests promptly.
2. Place requests with suppliers and ensure timely follow-ups for resolution.
3. Communicate effectively with suppliers via email and phone to track the status of requests.
4. Send POD to customers once received.
5. Update the Invevo system to notify credit controllers that invoices are available for collection.
6. Conduct thorough checks on online portals and email communications to verify order details.
7. Review quantities and product descriptions to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
8. Monitor and manage the volume of POD requests to minimize the impact of overdue disputed invoices.
9. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate parties as needed.
10. Explore and implement new methods of working to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
11. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and trust.
12. Assist with customer inbound calls.
13. Undertake additional duties as allocated by the Manager.
