Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
* Maintaining accurate clinical observations of patients; escalating concerns as appropriate.
* Being aware of the safe policy and procedures for using subcutaneous and intravenous devices and usage of enteral feeding tubes.
* Communicating effectively with patients, relatives, and the healthcare team, while being mindful of possible barriers to understanding.
* Having responsibility for the correct administration and custody of medicines according to the Trust Policy.

Person Specification
Experience
* Minimum of 6 months experience working as an Oncology Nurse in an NHS hospital setting in the past 2 years.
* IV Therapy Trained and a Qualified Nurse with NMC Pin and no restrictions.
* SACT Trained.
Qualifications
* All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of NMC Registration.
* Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
