Resident Trust Doctor (Lower) in Oncology

The post is for 40 hours per week and will work alongside existing roles within the team to help provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust.
The post is suitable for doctors with a specialist interest in Oncology or seeking to gain further experience in Oncology. Post holders will be based at Warwick Hospital and Stratford hospitals respectively.
Main duties of the job
The focus will be on the coordination of ambulatory oncology care on the day unit. The post will provide an excellent introduction to specialised cancer care with experience in medical oncology, clinical oncology, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other systemic therapies.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to the provision and development of the Acute Oncology Service across South Warwickshire Foundation Trust.
The post holder is responsible for maintaining awareness of and acting in accordance with professional guidelines such as Duties of a Doctor, Good Medical Practice and the GMC Performance Procedures.
The Chemotherapy Unit is run by a team of nurses and actively supported by a team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners (some of whom are in training); hence, your ability to work inter-professionally is key within this post.
