This role is crucial to produce high-precision aerospace components. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various manual machining equipment to fabricate and modify parts used in the aerospace industry, ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual machines including lathes, grinders, and other machinery to produce precision aerospace components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining operations and sequence.
Perform measurements using a variety of precision instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Ensure all machined parts meet the required tolerances and quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
