What you’ll do
In this role, you will play an important role in delivering our Better Homes strategy, primarily ensuring we consider options available for homes that do not meet NHG or customer expectations. You will also identify residents who may be potentially suitable for our Renew programme by looking at their situation holistically. Where approved, you will be responsible for managing the sale of empty homes.
How you’ll do it
* Conduct options appraisals to identify appropriate outcomes for our homes
* Produce informed written recommendations to business leaders on future use, such as change of use, tenure or sale
* Implement approved recommendations ensuring engagement with stakeholders
* Instruct solicitors, valuation surveyors and other external partners
* Deliver portfolio management projects such as small land sales and title easements
* Maintain and manage our data
* Complete regulatory returns relating to completed strategic asset management activity
The ideal candidate

If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
* Has experience working in a property investment, asset management or housing related function
* Is an effective and confident verbal and written communicator across all levels of the organisation to ensure clarity and understanding
* Exhibits good analytical skills, shows attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritise, organise and deliver to challenging targets
* Confident with IT applications, has intermediate MS Office skills
* A good understanding of property appraisals including acquisition, investment planning and stock disposals
* Understands how strategic asset management activity impacts NHG’s customers and supports the Better Homes Strategy
