AWS are a Recruitment Business (agency).
We are looking for class 1 container drivers working out of Immingham.
Work will be collecting containers of Immingham docks and deliver nationwide throughout the UK, reloads will also be required.
PAYE Only - holiday pay accrued
Requirements
* must have C+E licence
* needs to have driven a class 1 for minimum 9 months in last 24 months
* Have no more than 6 points on licence
* Be able to complete all paperwork, POD's - CMR
Responsibilities
* Operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Perform pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality.
* Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch regarding any delays.
* Utilize flatbed techniques for loading and unloading cargo as required.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries.
