The successful candidate will play a key role in undertaking assessments of PI leads conducted by our PI on boarding team with a view to identifying cases where there are sufficient prospects to proceed. In addition, they will provide legal guidance where needed to the Onboarding (OB) team. Main Responsibilities for the role: To review EL/PL/RTA/Product liability/Care Home leads for assessment of likely prospects as requested by OB. To audit RA1 rejects and ensure swift signing of any clients advised of rejection to prevent client loss. Ensure correct allocation on value and case type of cases between FT and SIL teams. Provide training, guidance and support to PI OB and Fletchers lawyers as necessary. To liaise with PI legal teams over the quality of decision making by OB and implement any required changes to ensure improved process. To provide legal/technical guidance in relation to general legal queries raised by OB team with specific emphasis on the complexities of EL/PL/OL cases. To help to drive performance of OB team by monitoring and reviewing teams acceptance and signed % rates to ensure they hit company monthly targets. The ideal candidate will have: Experience of handling PI claims Excellent attention to detail Excellent case management skills Good knowledge of PI cases dealing especially with complexities around all EL/PL/OL and care home cases to identify likely success on Breach and causation and submission to correct legal teams To have precise and high-level attention to detail Analytical skills and a methodical approach Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards Excellent communication skills Ability to work as a team member and independently and remotely Decisive decision maker.
