We are currently looking for a housing support worker to work with a social justice charity based in the Harlow and Loughton area. You will work closely with young people between the ages of 18 to 21 leaving care, or from breaking down family relationship. Your role will be to improve the lives of young people using the service by providing direct housing related support services. Your duties will include; Carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual service user, including any risks, or his/her needs and requirements in respect of the service on offer. Maintain contact on a regular basis with service users in accordance with the requirements of the service. Risk assess and take the necessary actions in respect of any activities with service users including personal safety. Develop relationships with appropriate external groups/agencies in support of services users' needs and requirements. Respond to internal or external complaints promptly, challenging any anti social behaviour and reporting any risks You will be required to have an enhanced DBS Certificate dated in the previous 12 months or on the updates service. You will be required to have a full Uk driving license, access to your own vehicle and business insurance. Hours; 40 hours- shift patterns – Early – 8-4, late – 12- 8. 1 weekend in 4 and 1 late in 3 in a month Pay; £14.71ph PAYE, £19.22ph Umbrella This is a temp ongoing role to start ASAP
