Job Summary
Clinical Analyst Band 6
The post holder will be required to work as part of the Clinical Programme Team with joint working with the wider Digital Team. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the EPR applications and other clinical systems supported by ICT to enable the development of these systems to support the Trust's Digital strategy. The post holder will need to liaise with Clinicians, Healthcare Professionals and non-clinical staff when developing clinical systems. This will include providing application support and supporting the Training Team with the delivery of clinical system training.

Main Duties of the Job
* To liaise with Clinicians and other Healthcare Professionals when developing EPR system and other clinical systems supported by ICT
* To receive complex clinical information and use to develop the EPR accordingly in partnership with the applications team
* To support the Clinical Development Team to ensure sufficient and accurate testing (with associated documentation) is provided for system developments
* To develop guideline documents, training documents, policies and procedures to support the use of EPR and other clinical systems supported by ICT
* To be a source of specialist system information for Doctors, Nurses and other Health Care Professionals who may use EPR and other clinical systems supported by ICT
* To liaise with other system teams to agree appropriate development issues
* To understand and apply the database structure in relation to system development
* Develop paper forms for system downtime
* Undertake data quality tasks to ensure that EPR and other clinical systems supported by ICT is accurately populated
* Apply clinical background to support in the development of EPR and other clinical systems supported by ICT
* To analyse user requirements and create system templates accordingly on an ongoing basis
* To support the end-users on the use of the document management system
