Our Maidstone services support a maximum of 4 adults per service with mental health conditions, Autism and Learning Disabilities. Days are spent supporting people to learn new skills or to find motivation to regain lost skills.
What we need from a Team Leader
"My name is Jay and we are looking for a new Team Leader to work in my home which is a supported living service for adults with disabilities,
First and foremost, you need to be kind and caring. As a team leader you will be responsible for ensuring my support needs are met and I am able to live a happy and fulfilled life. This is achieved by making sure my support plan is always up to date with my current information, putting together a compliant staff rota, supporting me to work towards my goals and dreams, supporting us to develop our lifeskills and completing health and safety checks within my home.
My peers and I like to have fun and try new things. Our team leader is required to support us to access activities of our choice. Some of our favourite activities include nightclubbing, the polar express, swimming, shows and theme parks.

The Team Leader Role
As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure that the company vision of person-centred support is implemented whilst maintaining an individual’s potential and independence. You will be a front-line manager, whilst also ensuring all necessary back office duties are completed within compliance.
A Team Leader is required to respect and work cooperatively with others, enabling the people we support to live in their own home or within their local community with dignity and confidence. Responsibilities include:
7. Supporting the manager in staff development and delivery of training.
8. Leading the staff in promoting each client’s well-being, safety and quality of life.
9. Monitor and assist the effective delivery of group and individual activities within homes that address agreed client goals and the progress of clients against agreed outcome and well-being measures.
10. Ensure that liaison with external parties within their areas of responsibility is coordinated effectively with the home manager to ensure that communication is effective and consistent within the home.
11. Work in accordance with Company values, policies and procedures, legislation and national minimum standards.
12. Meet agreed individual annual objectives.
13. Promote each client’s well-being, safety and quality of life
