An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a physically disabled autistic woman within the family home and the local community.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include supporting all aspects of daily life, including domestic support, connections with friends and family, shopping trips, and attending hospital appointments.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others, to work on opposite days to current PA.
Previous experience of autism, ADHD, and an awareness of mental health issues is essential; a positive attitude and good work ethic are also a must.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full, clean license is desirable but not essential.
This is a part-time position for up to 10 hours (days and times to be worked flexibly by mutual consent) per week, with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks (pro rata) paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme. (to be increased in April 2025).
