Health & Safety Advisor - London Area and South of UK
Salary: Up to £50k DOE (+£4000 Car Allowance + Mileage) - UK Driving Licence essential
Job Type: Permanent, Fulltime
Hours: 37.5 per week / Monday-Friday
Location: Field Based Role (Covering Nurseries in Surrey, Fleet, Camberley, Brighton, and surrounding areas)

Purpose of Role:
Provide assurance that health, safety, and compliance policies are applied consistently to mitigate risks and fulfill Keeping Everyone Safe responsibilities. Support the Health and Safety Manager in various tasks, including investigations, risk assessments, and fire safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
* Communicate key health and safety messages.
* Support nurseries with risk assessments and fire safety.
* Embed a positive health and safety culture.
* Main point of contact for health and safety requests in a nominated division.
* Monitor compliance and provide advice during regular visits.
* Collaborate with Health and Safety Auditors for continuous improvement.
* Support compliance with Display Screen Equipment Regulations.
* Attend meetings to provide health and safety guidance.
Essential Experience:
* Previous experience in a Health and Safety role.
* Proven track record in key tasks and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize.
* Knowledge of fire safety, risk assessments, DSE, and COSHH.
Preferred Experience:
* Childcare/Education sector.
* Multi-site company.
* Health and Safety training/coaching experience.
Qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential).
* GRAD IOSH or working towards (Desirable).
* Level 2 Food Safety Hygiene (Desirable).
* Fire Safety experience (Desirable).
* DSE Assessor (Desirable).
* Full clean driving licence.
