If you want to be part of a service committed to delivering high quality care with patients at the centre of everything it does then this role could be for you.
We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in NHS operational management with the ability to hit the ground running and experience of delivering challenging objectives in a health care environment. As a highly motivated manager you will need to display strong leadership qualities and have a proven track record of delivering in a high-pressured environment. You will have great interpersonal, time management and organisational skills and you'll be flexible and motivated with an ability to work autonomously.
You will be the strategic and operational lead across required directorates within the division of Cancer Services, and oversee the delivery of national and local performance standards, maintain the delivery of high-quality patient centred services and continue to balance delivery with strategic priorities and with effective financial management.
We are looking for someone who will work in conjunction with directorate management teams, clinical leads and nursing leads, and have the flexibility to work across site.
Main duties of the job
The Directorate is largely based on the Maidstone Hospital site with some outpatient services being provided at the Tunbridge Wells site.
You must have senior operational management experience, and significant expertise in project management, NHS policy, contracting and funding, strategic planning and delivery, development and delivery of staff development projects and communications strategies.
This is a varied and exciting role for those who enjoy driving improvement through engaging others through a positive and forward thinking approach.
