The Role: As a Year 4 Primary Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that inspire young learners to reach their full potential. Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports all students, including those with additional learning needs. Differentiating instruction is key to ensuring that all children thrive in your class. Student Progress and Assessment: Regularly monitor and assess the academic and social progress of your students, providing timely and constructive feedback. You will use data and assessments to plan future lessons and interventions to ensure all students reach their individual targets. One-on-One and Small Group Support: Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. Pastoral Care: Build strong relationships with students, providing emotional and pastoral support when needed. Promote good behavior and social development, ensuring all students are engaged and feel valued. Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with other members of the teaching team and support staff to plan and deliver cross-curricular lessons and projects. Attend regular meetings, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and be an active part of the school’s ongoing development. Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress, conduct parent-teacher conferences, and work together to support students' needs both in and outside of school. Requirements: We are seeking a passionate, professional educator with the following qualifications and experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification. Experience in Key Stage 2: Previous teaching experience, particularly in Year 4, is highly desirable. Strong Knowledge of the Primary Curriculum: A thorough understanding of the Year 4 curriculum, with the ability to design and implement creative and engaging lesson plans. Classroom Management Skills: The ability to effectively manage a classroom, create a positive learning environment, and ensure students stay on task and motivated. Adaptability and Differentiation: The ability to adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with additional learning needs.
