Job title: Project Manager - Junior or Senior Job Type: Permanent Start date: March 2025 - Subject to clearance Duration: Permanent Salary: Competitive Location: Warrington or Westlakes Hours of work: 37 hours per week Responsibilities: - Ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects of varying value and complexity, meeting established goals and objectives related to time, cost, and quality. - Oversee financial performance and risk management for assigned projects. - Manage and support customer and stakeholder groups through reviews and progress meetings. - Lead negotiations with customers, stakeholders, and subcontractors. - Drive efficiency and best practices, aligning local processes and procedures as applicable. Identify potential issues and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to maintain project baselines. - Confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both orally and in writing. - Independently seek out or develop solutions to challenging technical questions. - Organize personal and team time effectively to ensure internal and external deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded. - Demonstrate a desire for self-development, learning, and developing within the role, and assist in developing others when required. Qualifications and experience : - A minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager on a nuclear site or in a highly regulated environment. - Proven experience in managing high-value projects. - A degree in Project Management or a relevant field. - Knowledge of Sellafield operations and possession of APM qualifications are essential. - Understanding of planning principles, risk management, and cost management at both programme and project levels. - Awareness of stage-gate principles in project delivery. - Knowledge of factors affecting team motivation and techniques for effective risk management.
