Quayside Medical Practice is a large GP Practice with 12,000 registered patients. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team providing administrative support to the Practice clinicians. They will have a varied day completing a number of administrative tasks within our reception area. They will provide ongoing support for our team of GP's, multi-disciplinary and treatment room staff. They will represent the Practice in dealing with patient queries over the telephone and face to face at our reception desk.
Responsibilities
Answering telephone and reception queries
Provide administrative support for clinical staff
Booking appointments
Processing and filing of Practice paperwork
Full compliance with Practice policies and procedures
Experience
Minimum 12 months experience in an administrative role
GCSE English & Maths (minimum grade C) or equivalent
Competent computer skills
Great telephone skills
Highly organized
Committed individual with a passion for providing excellent patient service
Team player
Desirable
Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting
Working knowledge of Vision Software
AMSPAR certification
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
