AECOM is currently seeking to hire a Senior Building Services Engineer to be based from our Bristol, Plymouth or Exeter Offices. Our UK Building Surveying team deliver as one unit, and specialise in multi-disciplinary design services on refurbishment schemes, Condition, Technical Due Diligence, Dilapidations and Asset Management. Therefore we are looking for a candidate with a broad Building Surveying background that will compliment our services and strive to expand and our service provisions, supporting work winning and client management in the private and public sector. Here's what you'll do:
* An engineer with the capability to produce a clear and concise engineering report, in a manner that can be understood by the receptive audience.
* The ability to operate independently under a broad direction, and support team members where requested to meet Client demands.
* Prepare full and summative technical reports with the provision of concise technical advice.
* Consistently represent AECOM in a professional, courteous and diligent manner, to include meeting and liaising with clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring the service provided meets their needs.
* Develop strong working relationships with clients
* Decarbonisation and energy surveys
* Good written and oral communication skills, with working knowledge of computer based software
* Experience with Tablet based software, such as GoReport and Kykloud
* Manage client expectations
* Time management, including ensuring all reports, including those of team members are met, as not to diminish the reputation of AECOM.
* Provide guidance to junior team members
* Robust project and programme management capability
* Ability to work away from an office environment
* Ability to work domestically and abroad
* Eligible for DBS or other security clearance checks
