This is a new and exciting post to support the care delivery of the Mental Health Community Pathways. Working with the Senior Management Team and across a variety of community services, you will be at the forefront of innovative service developments.
The role will involve you providing professional nursing, allied health professional (AHP) and quality leadership and support across the community services. By working with staff and managers in the service, you will ensure that the highest possible quality of care is provided and that all required standards are achieved. Through your work in service development and enhancing professional practice, you will be expected to champion coproduction with service users, carers and staff., + Delivery of nursing, AHP, clinical governance and quality improvement priorities within Mental Health Community Pathways.
+ Using a quality and safety lens, the postholder will lead on and actively support and deliver workstreams, service developments and quality improvement projects. This work will be varied and be led by local and national priorities such as the NHS Long Term Plan, Community Mental Health Service Framework; the postholder will therefore need to be skilled in managing multiple strands of work and prioritisation.
+ The postholder will put action and support in place to ensure regulatory standards are met e.g. CQC, NMC, HCPC. They will support services through accreditation processes.
+ lead the development of professional practice to enable continuous quality improvement in the service provision
+ lead and coordinate evidence for complaints, safeguarding and patient safety action plans, ensuring learning is shared and embedded. When required, they will support with investigations and patient safety learning events.
+ Leading on policy development will be a key part of the role alongside providing support to review and implement policies.
+ Assume a lead role in developing, implementing and supporting on audit programmes of professional practice and quality.

You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or an Allied Health Professional with experiencing working in and leading teams in a mental health setting. You will need to manage multiple strands of work therefore the ability to be flexible and prioritise your workload will be essential.
