SENIOR GLOBAL REAL ESTATE SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT MANAGER

£90,000 - £100,000 + PACKAGE
Are you an expert in sustainable real estate procurement with a passion for driving positive environmental change on a global scale? This is an opportunity to lead sustainability initiatives across a multi-million square meter real estate portfolio for one of the world’s most prestigious professional services organizations.
As a Senior Global Real Estate Sustainable Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in embedding sustainability into real estate strategy, governance, and major projects worldwide. You’ll oversee a regional team and work with stakeholders across procurement, sustainability, and real estate teams to enhance governance, improve environmental impact reporting, and drive strategic opportunities for sustainable buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance the organization’s Better Buildings toolkit to ensure alignment with LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and net-zero carbon commitments
* Implement sustainability strategies across site selection, leasing decisions, and office fit-outs
* Work with senior procurement and real estate leaders to integrate sustainability clauses into Total Facilities Management, furniture, and catering contracts
* Drive the Net-Zero Transition Plan for global real estate and lead the Buildings sub-committee of the Net-Zero Task Force
* Engage with external industry bodies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of sustainable real estate best practices
Desired Background:
* Strong experience in sustainability consultancy, real estate procurement, or sustainable design/engineering
* Deep expertise in LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and embodied carbon analysis
* Strong track record in project management for sustainable real estate initiatives
* A degree in sustainability, architecture, or engineering, and ideally chartered membership in a relevant institution (IEMA, RIBA, RICS, etc.)
* A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and global teams
This is a London-based role with a hybrid working model, making it accessible from anywhere in South England with a reasonable commute to London.
