Some key information Based in Bridgwater Permanent 37 hours per week, term time only (39 working weeks) What will I be doing? We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve: Performing Driver daily checks, ensuring the vehicle is fit for use, lights, levels, seatbelts etc, and ensuring it is presented to the workshops when required. Driving a Coach at a high standard to and from schools, along with swimming and excursion trips as required. Ensuring your vehicle is always kept presentable inside and out. What kind of experience or qualifications do I need? We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you: Hold a full Category D PCV driving licence ( essential ) Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification ( essential ) Digital Tachograph Card ( essential ) Smart appearance ( essential ) Excellent customer service skills Reliable and conscientious Positive “can do” attitude. You will be responsible for the care and presentation of the vehicle in your care as required, and provide a friendly, reliable service for all, whilst being very flexible in terms of shift patterns, days and times worked.
