JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager : Manufacturing, ERP
As our new Production Supply Chain Manager, you will take full responsibility for the end:to:end supply chain operation, ensuring the seamless flow of materials from procurement, through production to final product delivery.
Operating in a fast:paced manufacturing environment, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, and optimise inventory levels to maintain efficiency and cost control.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager : Manufacturing, ERP
As our Production Supply Chain Manager, you will:
A Lead and optimise the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished product distribution via production
A Develop and implement a production planning strategy to maximise efficiency and reduce lead times
A Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising costs
A Oversee supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and securing favourable terms
A Ensure accurate stock controls with strong organisational skills, conducting both perpetual inventory checks and annual stock takes
A Work closely with external logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
A Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary
A Use ERP systems (we use Infor M3) to streamline operations and enhance visibility
A Monitor supply chain performance metrics, implementing improvements where needed
A Drive a continuous improvement mindset, championing Lean Manufacturing principles
YOUR BACKGROUND: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager : Manufacturing, ERP
To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role, you will:
A Have experience in a supply chain role which has covered, production planning, within a manufacturing environment
A Be familiar with inventory management, supplier negotiations, and logistics coordination
A Have strong ERP system experience (Infor M3 is a plus but we can train you)
A Be data:driven, with strong analytical and problem:solving skills
A Demonstrate leadership abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
A Be commercially astute, with the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery requirements
Ideally, you will have experience in aerospace, automotive or high:precision, high volume manufacturing
YOUR EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS: Production Supply Chain Manager, Inventory Manager : Manufacturing, ERP
A Likely degree educated in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar
A A CIPS Level 5/6 or relevant supply chain qualification is preferred
