The Department of Economics at the University of Oxford invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Economics to work with Alex Teytelboym on the ERC-funded project "Duality in Market Design: Theory and Applications."
* Position: Fixed-term (1 year), externally funded, available immediately, ending 30 June 2026.
* Application deadline: 17 February 2025.
* Interviews: Expected to be held virtually in late February - early March.
The post-holder will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research as part of the ERC research project "Duality in Market Design: Theory and Applications". The post holder may also provide guidance to junior members of the research group including research assistants, PhD students and project volunteers.
You will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD in a relevant discipline together with experience of doing research on auction theory, matching markets, market and mechanism design, and/or algorithmic game theory. You will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work with established research programme. You will also have the ability to manage your own research tasks and work with some independence on assigned work.
