Sports Coach
Part-time, Temporary, after February half term, Preston
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced coach looking for a temporary role? We are seeking a Part-Time Temporary Sports Coach to join our team in Preston for an exciting opportunity!
Job Overview
The successful candidate will play a significant role in the coaching of sport and the wider operational running of the department. We envisage that you will work directly with a team in each term both during the week and on a weekend in formal fixtures against other schools and inject energy and enthusiasm into the whole school sports programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging coaching sessions to individuals and groups across various sports
* Develop and implement training programs to suit the needs and abilities of participants
* Promote a positive and encouraging environment for athletes to reach their full potential
* Organise and run events, matches, and tournaments
* Provide feedback, guidance, and motivation to help participants improve
Requirements:
* Proven experience in coaching or sports training
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g. FA Level 1, NGB certification)
* Ability to work with children and adults of varying skill levels
* Passion for sports and helping others develop their skills
* DBS check (or willing to apply for one)
