This role is an exciting opportunity to work within our industry as part of our Engineering team. This role has responsibility for the delivery of safe, reliable, well-presented trains. The successful candidates will carry out basic engineering and servicing tasks on rail vehicles.

Hours of work: 35-hour week. This post includes shift and weekend working.
Reference salary £36,833 per annum, Training salary £33,180 per annum.
Selection Process
Selection process: Assessment may be part of the recruitment process. Candidates will be invited to attend a competency-based interview. The final stage for successful candidates will be a medical examination and drug & alcohol screening. Appointees must submit at least two satisfactory references, Disclosure Scotland clearance and complete a six-month probation period. Training initially involves a 2-day virtual induction Training Programme.
Medical Fitness: Due to the nature of the post and rail industry safety requirements there are certain medical & fitness standards that you would require to meet.
