IMultiply is supporting a growing business in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team based in Bellshill on a permanent basis. The Role The Finance Assistant will be part of a team providing support across all the group's business functions. This role is best suited to somebody with a number of years experience who is comfortable in a transaction finance function. As an Finance Assistant you will be required, but not restricted, to the following tasks: Process and issue invoices on a number of different projects Log all invoices to the ledgers, ensuring they are matched to purchase orders or project trackers where applicable and coded to the correct nominal codes Keep project trackers up to date and perform various project reconciliations when required Monitor approvals of all logged invoices Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger Timely identification and resolution of queries involving liaison by phone or written communication with internal staff and external suppliers Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements Keep cash books updated if the case Assist in the preparation of payment runs if the case Supporting the wider project team as required with ad-hoc duties or project work.
