Hannah More Primary School currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team our Inclusion team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting teachers with the inclusion, development and education of pupils.25 hours per week, term-time only (10am to 3:30 daily) Job overview You will be working as part of the Year 1 team under the guidance of the class teacher to support the inclusion of some of our most vulnerable learners. This will include small group and 1:1 support in the class in addition to running targeted interventions. Your primary role will be providing pastoral support for a pupil with social and emotional difficulties.
Job Requirements • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths • Teaching Assistant qualification desirable • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to be empathetic and understand the needs of students • Positive and resilient attitude with the ability to problem solve as part of a team As an inclusive school, we have a wide range of needs. Experience or training in meeting the needs of pupils with speech and language difficulties, autism or trauma would be highly advantageous.
