About the Role We are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our team in the Newton Aycliffe workshop. Ideally, we are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician, or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you This individual is required to provide 40 hours per week of engineering work in the Newton Aycliffe workshop. The main tasks and responsibilities will be to work in the depot completing the repairs, servicing, and preparation on trucks for the STR NKA and USED streams in order to achieve sales and STR deadlines and deliveries. This position is to replace an engineer who has left the business and to align with the target of additional USED truck growth, an increase of 120 trucks Responsibilities Work in the depot completing repairs, servicing, and preparation on trucks for the STR NKA and USED streams. MS Achieve sales and STR deadlines and delivery provide 40 hours per week of engineering work in the Newton Aycliffe workshop Key Skills Experience in at least one of the following areas Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Hydraulics.
